Throughout the town of Plymouth, there are dozens of locally owned businesses and we at ALANTE Real Estate would like to welcome our newest neighbors (just across the street from our downtown offices!) & the New Kid on the Block, BikePlymouth which celebrated it's Grand Opening during the first week in May!
We spoke with Co-Owner Gabriel K. and he let us know exactly what BikePlymouth was all about. Gabriel informed us he is originally from Holland, which is very well-known for it's biking. Gabriel explained, as a region of the Netherlands, there are 17 million people and 23 million bicycles.
What was it exactly that brought Gabriel (& his Co-Owner) to opening this new business?
Due to Gabriel's heritage, he felt inspired to bring a piece of 'home' to Plymouth. BikePlymouth has acquired 65 bicycles and their wish is that they may provide a fun and different experience to tourists, school groups, local groups & more.

The Dutch Gazelle E-Bike is a bike that provides little extra "oomph"! This bicycle is still a pedal bike however, with electronic assist, it allows you to cruise around town with a bit more ease than the traditional Dutch Gazelle. The E-Bike can give you approximately 30-50 miles per charge and allows for some ease while cruising up and down the hills of Plymouth.
