Pembroke is located off of Route 3, but other regional highways include Routes 14, 53, 27, 139 and 44. These highways provide connections to adjoining communities as well as Boston, Quincy, Brockton, Plymouth and Taunton and Providence.
Pembroke public schools rank within the top 100 in Massachusetts. This public school district is made up of three elementary schools, one middle school and one highschool.
For those seeking private education, there are several options in town, including Derby Academy and St. Paul School. Hingham is also home to Notre Dame Academy, a prestigious all-girls Catholic high school.

Dedicated to teaching riders from the ground up, Hidden Hollow farm is a historic, agricultural, organic family farm of 18 acres located on the Pembroke, Duxbury line—just minutes off of Route 3.
Attend a Family Event at the Town Green
Locals will attest - Pembroke has fun events for families at the town green. Whether the Pembroke Arts Festival, a concert of a show - these events are great examples of how the town comes together, fostering a sense of community and local pride.
This large grassy town-owned park stands on both sides of Herring Brook. Starting in April, herring begin their annual migration. Begnning in Massachusetts Bay, they swim up the North River for 12 miles to this site and beyond. This is a great spot for a picnic of a hike!
